Netherlands, 1 January: Arthur Lehning dies

 

The June 2000 issue of the FdCA's newspaper, Alternativa Libertaria, contains a commemorative article on this anti-militarist, anarcho-syndicalist and historian of the anarchist and workers' movements, author of texts on Bakunin which have been basic reading for at least two generations of anarchist communists.

The FdCA's Fano branch participates in this meeting, aimed at building an anti-capitalist, anti-authoritarian network for the self-management and self-organization of the struggles.

Rome, 17-19 February: National anti-clerical demonstration on the 400th anniversary of the burning at the stake of Giordano Bruno; 17th Anti-Clerical Meeting

 

The FdCA participates at this event in Rome's Campo de' Fiori, scene of Bruno's execution.
