THE INTERNATIONAL FIGHT AGAINST NEO-LIBERALISM
DID NOT START AT SEATTLE,
IT WILL NOT FINISH WITH GENOA!

Summit after summit, city after city, the number of protestors against the institutions of international capitalism and national States grows by the thousand. It is a movement born in the oblivion of the class struggle which is rediscovering the class struggle. The injustices are so monstrous, the remedies undertaken so ridiculous, the repression so violent and murderous, the media so dependent...that the many pacifists, the non-violent, the ecologists, the white overalls, the collaborationist trade unions and individuals of no fixed ideology of every type are beginning to feel the heavy breath of the centuries-old exploitation of capitalism on their necks, the murderous burning of State repression.

At Genoa, too, the economic power of the G8 and the repressive power of the liberal-fascist Italian government, remind us that the class struggle is NEVER finished for them and every opposition movement which wants to question their power will be combatted and repressed. So much for dialogue with the institutions! So much for police protection of protestors! And as if police repression and retaliation wasn't enough, the old story of agents provocateurs, infiltrators, rent-a-mob and "handy" innocents is dragged out once again.

Anarcho-communists, libertarians and anarchists have a long memory and have forgotten neither the deaths nor the repeated attempts to criminalize the class struggle and those movements which support it. And now, it's happening all over again!

To all our anarchist and libertarian comrades, to those from the anti-globalization movement, to the men, women and young people of the Social Forum, we appeal for resistance in the movement and for an increase in the struggles and in mobilization:

  1. Maximum vigilance against State repression.
  2. Maximum vigilance against provocation and trouble-seekers.
  3. Maximum willingness for dialogue and co-operation between all the forces of the anti-globalization movement, but with total respect for and awareness of the undeniable differences which exist between us.
  4. Support and solidarity for all struggles to defend trade union, political and social rights in Italy and all over the world.
  5. Federalization of all the social, trade union, environmental, cultural and legal struggles, to create a really self-run, self-organized movement against the law of capitalism, against the State.
